All songs on my album were produced and recorded by myself and Newell Bates (owner of Baytle Music Studio). My second CD BLOOD FROM MY PEN is a 7 song cd and all songs were written and inspired by journey in recovery. This CD was recorded and produced at Kutt Studios in Fort Lauderdale Fl by Don "Kutt" Laino and is an incredible work of engineering. My Son Chris Wilson plays Bass , my wife Pat does lead and backup vocals, my good friend Ed Krider does lead guitar and some back up vocals his wise Ellen Krider does back up vocals and Jeremy does some great bass and guitar work wile Kutt plays the percussions on the Cajon. I've written with Joanne Tramonte ( Ain't Gonna Miss You, I Cry, Restless, October Gray, Pretty Eyes, Doesn't Matter& Wishing And Missing You) Joanne wrote the lyrics to Wishing & Missing you, this heartfelt song in memory of her father and I wrote the music it was a very moving experince, April Higuera (Stop The Rain). Lyrics
Frankie Irish Words & Music by Paul Wilson (1 Frankie was Irish, he was born in the Bronx, Started runnin’ numbers for the man Bout as soon as he could walk. It was a life of survival With mom and little sis. He never knew the childhood He was gonna miss. Chorus Some folks said he was crazy, Others said he was just plain mean. I knew the whole story, and he was always a friend to me. Yeah, a friend to me. 2) He got in a jam when he was seventeen Trying to settle a score. The judge said, “Hey Frankie you can go to jail or the Viet Nam war.” Frankie said, “I’ll do you one better, don’t even know what we’re fightin’ for.” Frankie went down the next morning, and Joined the Marine Corp. Chorus Some folks said he was crazy, Others said he was just plain mean I knew the whole story, and he was Always a friend to me. 3) Frankie fought two tours a the jungle, Filled with chaos, death, and screams. Came home numb and lonely, And met the woman of his dreams. Seven years of wedded bliss, The happiest time of his life. Then a cancer stole her from him, He lost a war he couldn’t fight. Chorus Well now Frankie went crazy, And yeah he got plain mean. But I knew the whole story, And he was still a friend to me. Yeah, a friend to me. 4) Frankie was in a new jungle, Full of alleys, jails, and booze. He said “Paul it don’t matter, Don’t wanna win, don’t care if I lose.” He wandered the streets homeless, And died a broken man. I buried him next to her, So I’m sure he’s smiling again. Chorus Some folks said he was crazy, Others said he was just plain mean. He lived and died hard and fast, And he was always a friend to me. Yeah, a friend to me, Yeah, a friend to me, Yeah, a friend to me, Always a friend to me. © copyright2007 Francis Patrick James Saunders…rest my friend,
